Well, these aren't nude beaches, but
naturism definitely applies! I have been
going to nude beaches for a while, but last
year, someone talked me into going to burningman
because you can walk around naked there.
Basically, its an art festival out in the
middle of the desert. Art takes all forms,
including body (paint or clothes), cars,
sculptures, paintings, sound, and anything
else.
You can walk around naked and people don't
even talk to you differently, even the clothed
ones. Its great because with all the activities
to do, its almost like hanging out around
town naked. For example, naked juggling
at center camp (every day at noon!), naked
bike riding, naked parties, naked slipNsliding,
whatever you want to do there. I was there
for 6 days last year and didn't have enough
time to do everything I wanted. It's a lot
more upbeat and faster paced than a quiet
nudist resort.
There are ages ranging from newborns all
the way to almost-ready-for-a-walker. Most
of my pictures are of younger people because
that was the group I hung out with.
For more information about Burningman,
go to www.burningman.com
That website has all the info you need
if you are even remotely interested (a huge
photo gallery, directions, survival guide
cuz its out in the desert in Nevada)
Burningman is not an official nudist event,
but even with all the law enforcement there,
nudity is NOT a problem, in fact it is highly
accepted as you can see. You can wear as
much or as little as you want. I spent 6
days naked. Night time gets a little cold
though, you have to put warm clothes on.
